A minor girl died after accidentally falling into a canal in the Chassana area of Reasi district.
An official statement said that Rashida, 02, daughter of Raj Mohd and a resident of Channa Bagai, Tehsil Chassana, District Reasi, tragically fell into the Nallah at Channa Bagai while crossing it with her elder sister on Monday evening.
Her dead body has been successfully recovered. The local authorities have initiated further proceedings concerning this unfortunate incident. (KS)
